The Contractor capitalised on Calibrate’s extensive SOPA claim experience to guide the dispute resolution timeline, strategy and to then prepare the adjudication submission.
ENGAGEMENT
Calibrate prepared and submitted an Adjudication Response and further submissions in response to an Adjudication Application submitted by a major subcontractor under the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 (QLD). Calibrate was required to address over 600 individual claims. Calibrate’s response demonstrated a detailed understanding of the project’s design, the subcontract scope of works and of temporary works on construction projects.
OUTCOME
Calibrate prepared submissions and supporting materials on entitlement, scope and quantum for these claims over the course of several weeks. Calibrate prepared the Adjudication Response. The client was wholly successfully in the Adjudication, with the subcontractor receiving $Nil from its Adjudication Application.
